As he began his career in addiction treatment he became increasingly dissatisfied with the quality of care he observed in treatment facilities. John decided to set out on his own. With only $300, he opened an addiction treatment facility that evolved into the highly awarded, JCAHO accredited, 62 bed G & G Holistic Addiction Treatment in North Miami Beach, Florida, which sold in 2012 for $45,000,000.
He has also contributed to over 80 scientific peer-reviewed medical research papers. Research Gate ranks him as one of the top researchers in the world.

Mr. Giordano's expertise in trauma treatment stems from both professional training and personal experience. As a survivor of childhood trauma himself, he brings unique empathy and understanding to his work with individuals who have experienced life's most difficult challenges.
His specialized practice includes extensive work with military veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, survivors of sexual trauma, and individuals struggling with trauma-related addictions. Through his role as Chaplain for the North Miami Police Department, he has provided critical support to first responders dealing with occupational trauma and stress.
John Giordano's EMDR practice integrates traditional protocols with complementary approaches including mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic therapies. This comprehensive methodology has proven particularly effective for complex trauma cases and individuals who have not responded to traditional talk therapy approaches.
